Splash Zone is open to everyone aged 6+ years who can swim unassisted with no flotation devices.

DROP IN SPLASH ZONE HOURS:

Please note that Drop in Splash Zone will not run during the upcoming school holidays at NUsport's Aquatic Centre.

As part of the University of Newcastle’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe and high-quality environment, ceiling rectification works will take place from Monday 30 June to Sunday 20 July 2025 (inclusive). This 21-day period includes the final week of Term 2 and the winter school holidays.

We appreciate your understanding as these important upgrades are completed to enhance the facility for our community.

We look forward to welcoming you back for our next Drop in Splash Zone during the Spring school holidays.

Splash Zone Entry Fee is Aquatics entry fee plus $10 per person per session.

PLEASE NOTE: when booking online you will purchase a $10 Splash Zone pass. You will also be required to pay the Aquatic entry fee on arrival to NUsport.

You can book a birthday party or private function all year round.

*Groups of 10 or more require a booking outside community time. Please contact our Member Relations team on 4921 7001 or submit an enquiry form to make a booking.

**All children are required to complete a 15m Swim Test prior to participating on the Splash Zone. Any children who do not pass the 15m Swim Test will NOT be able to go on the Splash Zone due to safety reasons.
